Our porters carry from 18kg (40lb) – 20kg (45lb) at maximum excluding their personal weight, this is done at our office before climb to determine exactly number of porters and verified by park officers at the gate before issuing climbing permit. Climbers are supposed to bring up only the necessary stuff for the climb and unnecessary left at office or hotel/lodge, their weight should be 15kg (33lb) at maximum, in case you have an extra weight for the climb you required to request for your personal porter, this also applied for your day sack and bottled water, supplement charge will depend on salary based on time of entire trip.
